In any case payment must accompany each registration.
Note: No late fee, with proof of participation, will be applied for Seniors/Minors trying out for the high school team and for players trying out for select soccer teams.

***Once uniforms have been distributed, no refunds will be given. ***
3. AGE GROUPS Teams will be formed in early June through a “blind draw” process. Each player is placed into one of the age groups listed here depending on his/her age on 8-1-10 (except for 6 year olds–see above). All teams in these groups are single-sexed (except MINORS/SENIORS):
- WEE DEVILS [4 & 5 years of age]: Eight (8) sessions, which includes practice and a game.
- PASSERS [6 & 7 years of age]: Ten (10) games are played at Kyle Park.
- WINGS [8 & 9 years of age], STRIKERS [10&11 years of age] and KICKERS [12 & 13 years of age]: At least five (5) games are played at Kyle, while 5 games are played at Miami East, Bethel, Graham, or Northwestern parks, depending upon the league make-up that will be determined in July.
- MINORS/SENIORS [14 to 18 years of age]: Co-ed teams are formed in cooperation with nearby communities, usually not until August.
TCYS, INC. does not place registrants on a team for car-pooling purposes. It has generally been very easy for parents to set up car pools once the teams have been formed. Also, cousins or friends may not ask to play together.
4. UNIFORMS All uniforms will be ordered by July 1. Players 4-5 years olds (WEE DEVILS) will receive a T-shirt and socks, players 6-7 years old (PASSERS) receive a T-shirt, shorts, and socks. Players 8-18 years old (WINGS-STRIKERS-KICKERS-MINORS) receive a nylon soccer jersey and socks. These players must supply their own shorts (preferably black).
5. EQUIPMENT Players must wear shin-guards covered by socks at all practices and games. Soccer cleats, soccer turf shoes, or tennis shoes may be worn. No jewelry of any kind (including taped-over pierced earrings), metal or plastic hair clips or beads nor string/cloth bracelets are permitted. Players should bring a soccer ball to practice: PASSERS--size 3; WINGS & STRIKERS--size 4; KICKERS & MINORS/SRS–size 5.
6. SCHEDULE You will receive a call from your child’s coach in July. Practices may begin July. Games begin in approximately the 3rd weekend in August and ends the first of October. Games are played Mon.-Thurs. at 6:00 p.m. (and at 7:00 p.m. for PASSERS) and Saturdays from 9:00 - 3:00. All teams (Wings, Strikers, Kickers, and Minors) will be asked to participate in the SAY AREA Fun Tournament after the regular season has been completed. Passers will have a separate in-house tournament usually the first weekend in October.
