Tipp City Youth Soccer (TCYS) will soon begin preparations for the upcoming 2010 fall season. This allows our community’s children from ages 6 to 14 to learn, play and enjoy the game of soccer. One of the most important things is to have officials to keep the games playing smoothly without incident and help teach the players the rules of the game. Every year around 400 kids register with around 35 teams. WE NEED MORE AND NEW REFEREES EVERY YEAR!!
Refereeing is a great way of earning some extra cash and helping out your community’s children. Children from ages 12 and up and most importantly adult referees are needed.
Training for this feel good experience is offered and required prior to the beginning of the fall season. Payment occurs at the games with a graduating scale based on age of players. Anyone interested or has any questions should e-mail Mike Mahan for more details.
Referee Payment Schedule For 2010
Passer Games (6-7 years) – Each referee is paid $10 each.
Wings Games (8-9 years) – Each referee is paid $18 each.
Striker Games (10-11 years) – Each referee is paid $20 each.
Kicker Games (12-13 years) – Each referee is paid $20 each
Seniors/Minors Games (14 > years) – Each referee is paid $22 each
