After the Pre-Season Coaches Meeting

Each season TCYS holds a Pre-Season Coaches Meeting (usually in June prior to the Fall season) to review the coaching requirements and the schedule for the upcoming season.  All head coaches are required to attend the Pre-Season Coaches Meeting.  Assistant coaches are welcome to attend.

Coaches will also receive their team roster at this meeting from their Division Coordinator.

Please, call your team just to introduce yourself so Board members won't get calls.  You can provide them with more details later.

Begin to plan your calendar, and note the dates of the important events provided in this document.

Think about the tasks you can ask parents to do once you begin practicing, such as game snack responsibilities, coaching help (child management), uniform distribution, etc.

Post-Season Coaches Meeting

All coaches are asked to attend a Post-season Coaches Meeting on the fourth Monday in October to discuss the season and to offer suggestions for improvements.

Coaches are asked to turn in all balls, unused uniforms, nets, and any other equipment assigned to them at this time.
